A little about me...

At 53, I had a husband of 28 yrs, three grown daughters, three grandchildren, a Corgi called Watson and a freshly renovated Victorian terraced home, in Devon England. 

After many years of watching a place in the sun, we thought could we do that? Sell up and relocate to somewhere on the Continent!

Was it even possible post brexit? 

 We had only experienced short breaks and holidays, as we started our family pretty young. We longed to try living somewhere on the Mediterranean Coast.                                                     

Instead of a planned holiday of a lifetime to Miami, we celebrated our Silver Wedding Anniversary with a picnic in the car. During a national Covid lock down!                                                

My husband was feeling pretty burnt out, plus we had recently become empty nesters.                                                         

 So one evening in the springtime of 2022, after several glasses of wine, we made the decision... Let’s do it!
