A little about me...

So at 53, I had a husband of 28yrs, 3 grown up Daughters, 3 grandchildren, a Corgi called Watson and a freshly renovated, Victorian terraced home in Devon England. 

After the global pandemic hit the world, and after many years of watching a place in the sun, we started thinking could we do that? Sell up and relocate to Spain!

It wouldn’t be impossible, but post brexit (just over half of England decided it would be a good idea to leave the EU) it wouldn’t be easy either! 

We had both been working hard, plus renovating our home for the past 8 yrs.  My father in law passed away in a care home, during one of the national lockdowns.

 Instead of a planned holiday of a lifetime to Miami, we celebrated our silver wedding anniversary with a picnic in the car, (also during one of the lockdowns!)                                                

My husband was feeling pretty burnt out, plus we had recently become empty nesters.                                                         

 We had only experienced short breaks & holidays, as we started our family, in our early 20s.                                     We both longed to try living somewhere on the continent.

So one evening in the  springtime of 2022 and after several glasses of wine, we made the          decision... Let’s do it!
